A nurse and seven others were arrested Tuesday morning after a major drug bust in Owensboro.
An investigation began after receiving several tips about a drug trafficking operation at the home of 61-year-old Pamela Bartimus.
She was an employee of Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Kentucky.
While searching the home, the sheriff’s office found a stolen box of medical supplies, fentanyl patches, liquid morphine, Trazadone, Flexeril, and numerous other prescription medications with patients’ names on them.
Bartimus had people living in the garage as well as the backyard.
